This beautiful pattern – Peggy Bodice – by Charm Patterns (Patreon) has been floating around in my head for a while, but I hesitated. Reason: it has sleeves.
Nevertheless, I gave it a try and was surprised by the fit. Apart from a wider neckline and a little grading at the upper arm seam, the pattern actually fits quite well, if only there weren’t so many creases in the sleeves, and they also twist, which I find quite unattractive. It actually looks quite good on my dress form, because it doesn’t have any arms, but on me… 🙁
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s the pattern, it’s great, it’s just my shoulders as usual and that’s a bit frustrating.
