Now that the weather in Hamburg is slowly getting warmer again and even the sun is showing itself regularly, I was looking for something that could be done on the balcony. My sewing machine is kind of out of the question – due to the lack of electricity and also because I don’t want to drive my neighbours crazy with the noise. So I started working on the meanwhile “revised” version of my last knit design.

But no matter how much I love my prototype *cryingalittle*, the pullover is sadly not very comfortable. This is due to the fact that the manufacturer accidentally indicated the wrong gauge on its product and that my sample still somehow matched this wrong specification and now it is simply too small. The stretchiness of merino wool certainly played an additional role, otherwise I would have noticed this mistake much earlier and not doubted myself all the time. Because this work didn’t exactly run smoothly, lots of corrections, lots of extra stitches that somehow made a mess of everything, and so on. But well… so let’s do it all over again!
