Finally something sewn after a long time – my fitting test of the Sabrina Dress Body.
I’m slowly trying to get back into sewing mood and thought well let’s try out the bodice of the Sabrina Dress” target=”_blank”>Sabrina Dress (Charm Patterns – Patreon) and start with the fit optimisation.
So far I’ve only made only a few adjustments and I’m surprised how quickly I’ve already achieved an acceptable result this time. I’ve only taken out some width at the sides, corrected my different shoulder height and made the shoulder or upper back area narrower, as the ‘straps’ from the original were much too far out for me.
By the way, THIS one is still my absolute favourite pattern by Charm Patterns!
And this is how my fitting test of the Sabrina Dress bodice looks at the moment:

The back:
Now I just have to decide what kind of skirt I want to go with it, because the style of the matching one just doesn’t suit me and of course which fabric I want to use for the realisation. Hmmmm that could still be difficult! 😉
