Here is a small selection of fabrics that I received via a little detour as a gift from a studio liquidation. 🙂
They are mostly rather small and narrow pieces, but they are very pretty!
Besides, they were “for free” and because of that I simply do not expect 2-3 meters of each fabric, even if I would need them for my dresses.
Reasons:
1. I like unicoloured dresses, but often find them too boring if I also use an unicoloured lining
2. fabric remnants can be used wonderfully for hemming or for pockets – which I need in all of my cloths
3. in combination with another fabric one or the other fabric may still be enough for a short summer dress
4. lining fabrics or cotton fabrics which I use as lining my dress bodices also cost money
So thanks to the original donor and Kirsten from Munkileev for sharing with me!
