Soooo here it is: My new summer dress! The Picnic Dress after the pattern by “Lila + June” (unfortunately no longer available).
The front view:
I was particularly taken with the gathered center bust, plus the fact that the lining is not gathered at this point, but worked with princess seams which provides great support.
The back view:
Here you can see the adjustable straps, a detail I also like very much, because you can influence the fit of the dress a bit.
The “lift your spirits” project really did me good! 🙂
