… yes, sometimes that’s just how it is! I thought the dress was great at first, but in the end I only wore it once because something bothered me about it. I can’t even really say what it was, but that’s how it was and still is, unfortunately.
So now it’s time to redesign my dress:
But I simply like the fabric too much to just leave the dress hanging there unworn, so I started to take it apart. Luckily, I still have enough main- and lining fabric left to at least make a new bodice.
Now I just have to decide on a new bodice. At the moment, I’m not quite sure how I want to redesign my dress, but I’m leaning towards a high neckline or a boat neck! One thing I know for sure, though, is that if I hadn’t taken the dress apart now, it would have just hung there unworn for even longer.
